Annual Giving to Northfield Retirement Community
NRC is a not-for-profit organization. As such, we depend on private gifts to ensure that our residents enjoy the highest quality of life possible. Whether the goal is to update our facility or to add staff that will make a significant difference in someone's life, we turn to those who care to make these improvements a reality.
In making a commitment to improving the quality of lives of all members of our community, we are constantly seeking new and innovative ways to do so. Not surprisingly, these initiatives do not come with the resources to make them happen. In these cases we turn directly to those who understand and care about our mission and vision.
Types of Assets You can Give to Northfield Retirement Community
Appreciated Securities
The IRS allows you one of its most significant tax breaks for gifts of appreciated securities
Business Interests
Give NRC an interest in closely-held or family business
Cash
Maximize your charitable deduction and deliver immediate benefits to NRC.
Life Insurance
You can fund a future gift for us from you income instead of capital
Partnership Interests
Support NRC by transferring an interest in a real estate or other partnership.
Personal Property
Donate books, artwork, or equipment and secure an income tax deduction.
Retirement Assets
The balance of your retirement plan may be worth more when donated to NRC than to your heirs.
Every year around Christmas we conduct a Poinsetta Prayer drive. In doing so, we create a nine-foot tall "Christmas Tree" adorned with red and white poinsettias. The beautiful tree is displayed in our chapel for all our residents, staff and visitors to enjoy. If you would like to purchase a red poinsettia in memory of a loved one who has passed away, or a white poinsettia to honor a friend or relative who continues to enjoy life with us, please contact
