Welcome to Northfield Manor
at Northfield Retirement Community
Northfield Manor offers affordable apartment housing for seniors as well as adults with disabilities. It is a federally funded property and offers comfortable one-bedroom apartments; each equipped with an urgency call system. Rents are based on residents’ monthly income. This handicapped-accessible, 24-hour secured building has two elevators to access all resident floors. Northfield Manor is a tobacco-free facility.
Noon meals are offered for an additional fee, and are served in a beautiful dining room that also serves as a spacious community room, available for resident use. Lounge areas and laundry facilities are conveniently located on each floor. The lower level houses a coffee shop, library, television-viewing area and several rooms for a variety of activities. Storage space is available for each apartment. Corridors connect the Manor to the rest of the buildings on the campus for indoor walking exercise. Other amenities include campus owned transportation, free weekly wellness clinic, chapel on campus for Vespers and Sunday worship, individually controlled heat dials, full-service hair salon (Northwoods Salon). Internet access available and a guest room is available for rent by family members.
A resident council plans social activities for the enjoyment of all who live at the Manor.
Optional services include:
- Home Care services for housekeeping and laundry, personal and health care provided by Northfield ParkView assisted living home care agency.
- Transportation by van for medical and dental appointments, shopping and special events.
